The classic manga series Yu-Gi-Oh! by legendary manga artist Kazuki Takahashi is celebrating a major milestone this year—its 30th anniversary since serialization.

On 8 May, Shueisha announced that the "Kazuki Takahashi Original Art Exhibition: YU-GI-OH! ART WORKS" will be held in Tokyo in the winter of 2026. 

This will be the first large-scale original art exhibition dedicated to the works of Kazuki Takahashi.


The exhibition will feature a wide collection of valuable original hand-drawn artworks, early concept materials, 

and sketch illustrations of iconic characters and monsters. Fans will have the opportunity to rediscover Kazuki Takahashi's extraordinary talent in character design, game creation, and monster design.

The official exhibition logo and teaser key visual have also been unveiled.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a classic action anime centred around card battles and duels.

The story follows a young boy named Yugi Muto, who awakens another personality after solving the mysterious Millennium Puzzle. Through countless intense duels, he faces powerful rivals, protects his friends, and gradually uncovers the secrets of Ancient Egypt and the legendary Millennium Items.

Filled with friendship, adventure, and unforgettable battles, Yu-Gi-Oh! has become one of the most iconic anime series loved by fans around the world.

For many fans, Yu-Gi-Oh! is more than just an anime—it's a shared memory of friendship, competition, determination, and the excitement of childhood.

And the iconic line, "It's my turn!", remains one of the most unforgettable catchphrases for Duelists around the world.
